But the best benefit is knowing that you have helped us produce Shakespeare's works on the Milwaukee stage.
*Tickets redeemed with volunteer hours are for week nights only and are subject to availability.
*Ushering hours are excluded.
Season Opportunities
Throughout the season, we have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities.
If you are interested in any of the following options, please email Noel Henebury-Farmer, Company Manager.
Keep checking back for updated dates and additional opportunities.
- First Rehearsal — To kick-off our first rehearsal, we host a small reception for cast, crew and staff where introductions are made and designs are presented. Volunteers prepare and serve light snacks while getting to meet the actors and welcome them to Milwaukee Shakespeare.
- Welcome Baskets — Milwaukee Shakespeare provides welcome baskets to our visiting artists. Volunteers provide the items to fill these baskets (examples include food or drink items, gift cards/tickets, and items that are unique to Milwaukee).
- Airport Transport — Help us pick up the actors and designers at the airport or train and transport them to their lodgings
- Shakespeare Suppers — On days we have both student matinees and evening performances, we provide a meal for our cast and crew between shows. Volunteers prepare and serve the meal - a great opportunity to interact with our enthusiastic casts.
- Mailings — Subscription tickets, annual reports, invitations of all kinds be to be carefully assembled and mailed. Help us get our correspondence out the door on time!
- Facilities — We love to welcome our cast and crew to the first rehearsal with a clean rehearsal space. Come sweep, mop, wash coffee mugs, and visit with us as we anticipate the arrival of our new artists!
