Play a part... Milwaukee Shakespeare depends on the generosity of hundreds of donors who make a financial commitment to support our work. As Milwaukee's only professional theatre dedicated exclusively to the works of William Shakespeare, we are committed to presenting these works with clarity and innovation. Milwaukee Shakespeare donors help to make this important mission a reality. In addition to the satisfaction of supporting great work, Milwaukee Shakespeare donors receive many special benefits, including exclusive invitations to opening night parties, rehearsals and other donor events. Milwaukee Shakespeare is a tax-exempt, 501c(3), non-profit theatre company. Since revenues from ticket sales provide less than half of the cost of producing these excellent plays, we must rely on the generosity of our many friends to make live Shakespeare plays available to the Milwaukee area community.
