Arts Administration Internship

Marketing Internship

Milwaukee Shakespeare, a professional theatre dedicated exclusively to the production of Shakespeare’s works, is seeking a semester or season (entire academic year) Marketing Intern.  Marketing Intern would be exclusively responsible for a number of projects including, but not limited to, frequent e-marketing efforts, newsletter articles and viral marketing management and would work closely with the Marketing Director to attain marketing goals.  Approximately 10-15 hours per week; unpaid internship – available for college credit.

Skills and Requirements:

• Sense of humor and the ability to have a good time
• College Student in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field.  Junior/senior preferred.
• Strong technical writing skills
• Skill with Microsoft Excel
• Efficient, reliable and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Understanding of new media and web-based applications a plus (not required)
• Knowledge of Adobe design programs a plus (not required)
• Comfort with phone and email interaction
